I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
I just wanted to let those of you who are based in the Norfolk area know that we have had a space become available on the Decorative Vintage Styling Workshop, next Saturday 11th February in Norwich. All the details are here if you are interested. Katie and I are now looking at more dates at other venues across the country, so do pop back to check if you would like to have a gorgeous day of playing with vintage props and flowers, and learning some styling and photography tips in the process.
I have been working flat out all weekend to get the house in order for a shoot that is taking place here for the next three days. The shoot is for a small company that makes pretty textile accessories for the home, and I am styling the shoot, so I am in my absolute element. The first day was on Friday, and we were out on location at a beautiful house in Norfolk. We did everything outside as the weather was glorious, and the shots looked absolutely gorgeous with the hazy sunshine. I can’t wait to share them with you! After such a successful first day, the pressure is on, and I’m keen that the house looks as good as possible. The children and I even spent the day yesterday sorting their rooms out, which was an epic mission! Bribery still remains an effective way to get get the job done, so we rewarded ourselves with a takeaway and a movie last night. A sign that I have been away from home a crazy amount last month, was that yesterday I found a rogue Christmas decoration still hanging in pride of place in the kitchen!
I hope you all have a lovely Sunday.
